There is always a need to be of service and especially to those less fortunate. Giving of self is the ultimate gesture of kindness and care. The Atlanta Community Food Bank reported 36% of residents are living with food insecurity.

One of the major concepts for PYE is community service. This project gives PYE staff and volunteers the chance to feed those in need a specially prepared Thanksgiving dinner before a high energy game of basketball. Participants also take part in several other activities that connect them to people who are less fortunate.
