Harvesttime Swoosh is an annual event that joins a host of youth in an atmosphere of education, civic duty, and recreation. This event begins with our teen volunteers participating in The Hosea Feed the Hungry and Homeless Thanksgiving Dinner Event which is the nation’s largest sit-down dinner for the homeless and hungry. They will be serving meals, handing out clothes, entertaining or maybe on clean up duty. Whatever the assignment they always give their all. This day long event fosters feelings of empathy, compassion, and connection. On day 2, participants will attend seminars, take a field trip, and compete in a day long basketball tournament, all to foster feelings of community and togetherness.
